Funding will be available to Canadian-based scientists, researchers, community organizations and others to carry out innovative and interdisciplinary International Polar Year projects and activities. Calls for Proposals will be announced and posted on this website. All funding proposals will be subject to a competitive peer review process in which proposed projects will be evaluated against strict criteria.
Please be aware that the Northern Contaminants Program also has a Call for Proposals which includes opportunities for Education and Communications project funding. This call will be issued in mid-November. For more information, please visit Northern Contaminants Program.
